So, I was at work, on my facebook one day, and my motto reads:

I'm a dude into dudes. You have the options of accepting that or f:***:ing off.

One of my co-workers saw my page and said: "wait? Your gay? You never said you were gay."

To which I responded: "well, you don't parade your heterosexuality around, so why should I parade my homosexuality around. Besides didn't you notice the 'I am Queer' bumper sticker on my car?"

He actually went down to my car to check to see if I had a bumper sticker that said that, I don't.

    laughs were had by all.:roflmao:

That's awesome! It must be fun to be able to be so casual with being out or coming out to new people. Did you do the Facebook thing as a way to come out to people, or did you do it after you were out to most of the people you knew?

    Haha, wicked.

Yea, I personally wouldn't have a bumper sticker on my car... a) might ruin the paint, and b) why would you want your car to get keyed/bashed into due to hate?

Still, an interesting coming out.

it wasn't always that way I lived the closet since I was about 16, and when I finally did come out it wasn't a walk in the park, in fact no one believed me.

The facebook thing was long after I came out. I'm a face to face person I'd rather tell them then have them learn from some 2nd hand source.

Yeah..sounds about right..play the role of a hetero long enough and it's all people see you as. I had/have the same problem..it's actually kinda annoying really

That's exactly why I don't put anything on my car..Nothing political at all. The farthest I go is putting a sticker from my school on the inside of the rear windshield.

I do love seeing bumper stickers on cars.. I saw one today with a bunch that just made me smilie. One of them was the HRC logo, and the other was one that said: "God is NOT a Republican....or a Democrat."
