Pretty much followed the same format as when I came out to two friends a few weeks ago. Drink, pub and a lot of nerves. One of the friends that I came out to helped me to tell him.

Must say that I feel really weird having people know - I'm guessing that will pass in time.

The only person I have left to tell is my mother who I think will be totally fine with it. Just not sure exactly how to approach that as I'd really rather not do it when under the influence of alcohol.

Less excuses now not to move on in life.

That feeling of weirdness definitely goes away after time!

Congrats on coming out to your dad.

The wierdness will eventually settle down and become another part of who you are. Coming out is an experience like no other.

Congrats on telling your dad :icon_bigg! It sounds like it went well and now you're well on your way to living an open and honest life. Keep on telling us what it's like from here, so that I can drag my ass fully out of the closet too!

Congratulations. It is written that the truth will set you free. How right that is.

Yay! Congrats! It is a weird feeling at the beginning, but it does fade over time as you and all the others around you adjust.

Congratulations on coming out to your dad!

Maybe just sit down with your mum and talk to her. Try to find a good time for the both of you. Should you feel uncomfortable with coming out to her in person maybe go the letter route then. I hope all goes well. Good luck! Let us know how it goes!
