Greetings all. Well... I haven't posted a thread in here for a while, but I do have something to celebrate! Monday of this week was the anniversary of the day that I joined EC, and the first time I tried to get help (which I received in abundance, thanks guys!). It was also the anniversary of the first time I admitted to someone in Real Life that I was not in fact straight. Its kinda scary to me how many things could change in one year... I went from a hopeless closet case, to being relatively open with my sexuality and even attending a local youth group. A few days ago, I even changed my Facebook to say that, yes, I am in fact gay. I'm still a little bit shocked by it... Though overall its been a very good year for me. I haven't been rejected or harassed really by anyone about it, and even managed to get a boyfriend (or 2...) along the way. All in all, I'm looking forward to this year! I guess this is my way of saying thanks. Thank you to everyone here for the support, advice, friendship and simple fact of being there for me and so many others this year. Even if I don't know you, the fact that you are here reading this now means the world. EC is awesome. Kaleb. PS: I <3 replies. You know you want to reply. I'll give you cookies and everything!

I'm a sucker for baked goods. Plus, I'm glad you feel that way. I feel the exact same way. EC has helped me be more honest and open with my life and I am so much happier as a result. ^_^
