I remember the night I came out to my best friend. I was shaking. That was about 3 months ago. Now, if anyone that isn't out at all is reading this - it's true. The first one is the hardest. My second coming out was at a birthday party, a month or two ago. We were both drunk, but she was cool about it. I came out to another friend on Friday and I've been on a roll since then - two more friends this week. And I managed to say it out loud today - I'm gay. There's only one friend left from our group and I will tell her as soon as she comes to school. That may be tomorrow, the day after tomorrow, next week... but I'm going to tell her. And I'm going to tell her in person. Well, there are more people that know too, but that was completely unnecessary. It was easy to tell them since I don't really know them. I'm not planning on coming out to my mother any time soon, but... it might happen if we ever get to that topic... I can't say for sure. Whoever you are, whether you know me or not, thank you. <3
(*hug*) yayy! I'm happy for you. You're lucky, not everyone has as the best experiences. Good luck with your friend, and your mother whenever you tell her. <3
This is a huge benchmark in my books! If you can say this out loud and really mean it, you know you're ready to come out to the world. Congratulations on all of your coming out achievements. It sounds like it's getting a little easier each time!
