So, I posted a thread soooooooo along that I can’t even find it, about telling my best friends about my gayness. Well, I finally told him and I couldn’t believe how cool he was with it. He said I don’t care who you date you’ll still be my best friend. I can’t even begin to describe this great feeling I have right now. He said he may not understand it, but that doesn’t matter. He said all the things I was thinking, I’m still the guy who was there for him on his wedding day and got his dog to hospital when it was sick; and, he said something that really meant a lot. He said I was a good friend. I feel so good right now, I felt like crying and never cry. (!)
congrats! I felt the same way when I told my best friend from high school. Its the best feeling. Enjoy!
thanks for the support all, really things could not have gone better. Plus, that knot in my shoulder seems to have gone away....think they were related, I do.
I know the feeling well buddy... Congrats on such a big move!! I have to say, you were a big help in getting me to overcome my biggest hurdle with my parents, so it's great to see that you can take your own excellent advice! :icon_bigg
And, now that he know I've told the whole circle of friends, his was the only opinion that mattered so... WE worked at the same site today and we made jokes about gay and straight, man this is great!
