I told 3 of my closest friends at a party and there was no reaction at all, they acted like I had told them that I liked chocolate. That was exactly what I hoped for then, at lunch I told my other friend, she said "Oh my god, seriously?? That is so cool I love you!" It kinda made my life. It also really helped that one of my friends turned out to be lesbian as well. I love my friends and all the support they have given me. Working towards telling my mom...but I think that one will take some time

congrats! (!) i love hearing stories like this. but parents are definitely harder to come out to. but at least you have close friends that you can talk to about it. i came out to my mom 4 years ago, but we haven't spoken of it since, so i feel like i still have to come out to her.

good luck with coming out to her! and like you said - it will take time, so no rush.
but when you do, keep us posted

Beautiful! Take the time to savor and enjoy these special feelings before moving ahead with the next challenges - there's no rush.
