To update everyone on my situation, I came out to my parents on March 23. My mom was supportive of me but my dad wasn't too happy about it. Since then he started to come around to it. He is still getting used to the idea. But I feel better about myself now that I now longer have to lie to my parents or my family. I don't think I would have had the confidence to do it without this site and its members. So for that I say thank you. :icon_mrgr
Not that I have helped you but you are welcome to help from everyone at EC, a lot of people join because they are searching for help, but once they have started to find that help they stick around to help those that come along afterwards.
On behalf of those who did help you, you're welcome! (*hug*) I'm glad coming out to your mom went well, and that your dad is now cool with it. This site is very helpful, so don't forget to seek help here for anything else. Any siblings to come out to? Or is that already done?
I plan on staying here and try to help those that need it. My siblings found out about it so that is already done.
