So, there's not really hat much to say... I went on a long walk round the fields near our house, and was talking to my sister about family matters, and just told her. I was expecting it to be a bit more dramatic, but her "well, it's not really a surprise" reaction fell within the spectrum of plausible answers I guess. Next step: mum and dad!
Well that's good! Hopefully mom and dad will have the same reaction! But yeah, I totally hear you; I always expect it to be totally dramatic ('cause often times it is XD), so it's shocking yet relieving when it's not. Actually the funny thing is, when my sister found out about me, we were at a restaurant and I was talking about relationship stuff (being careful about using pronouns), and she asked "were they all girls?" so I said no. It was kinda weird 'cause it showed she already suspected/knew... hehe XD
Yep, well the parents may well get the chance to give me their feelings about it tomorrow! Yeah, I was amused, mostly because everybody else's reaction has been along the lines of "I wasn't expecting that".
Congrats! I think sisters are like mothers, they just know. My sister's response: "I don't have any problem with it. And I had kinda guessed." This was said with a big smile on her face, and I'm pretty sure she was more excited than anything else that her older brother was gay:lol:
