I had my first date with a guy! Met a really nice guy online. We've been chatting for a while and have a ton in common (both from small towns near nowheresville, came out kinda late, etc.). I spoke with him on the phone Thursday night, and we decided to go out for dinner / drinks last night! I'm not gonna lie, I was friggen nervous ALLLL day right up to the point where we actually met. Once we got the pub/restaurant and I got a little drink in me, I started to relax and enjoy myself. We had a great time! Afterwards we got a coffee and went back to his place to talk & watch TV (get your minds out of the gutter...nothing happened yet, ... though it definitely took a little will power). Finally understand all the posts from guys on their first dates wondering when is "too soon" to make a move without coming across as slutty. LOL. Aaannyway, after that he walked me back to the metro to go home, and we shared a quick kiss It was basically just a peck on the lips - I would have gone for more, but there were people around and I was a little self-conscious. It was nice though, and I couldn't stop smiling the whole metro ride home!...and still smiling this morning. We're getting together again either tomorrow or Monday. I can't wait! Oh...just realized something - I'm from Montreal (French-land), so just to clarify - the metro is the subway So happy right now (!)
