My best friend and I are very touchy-feely with each other and joke about our relationship constantly. This was part of what has made me really nervous about telling her, even though I really have absolutely no attraction to her. So last night we were sitting in her car in my driveway talking and I said something to suggest that I'm not going to look for a guy to hook up with when my friend and I go to Montreal. She asked some questions about why, then, almost jokingly she asked: Her: "Do you like women?" Me: "...yeah" Her: "Wait, are you telling me this seriously?" Me: "...yeah" then she flung herself over to hug me and yelled "finally!" We talked about it a little bit, but then the conversation just went on like normal like nothing had changed at all. I'm really happy. It's the first time coming out has felt like a huge relief & I'm thrilled about it. Honestly though it still doesn't feel real. I really have to thank all of you too. Seriously, I never would have gotten to this point if it wasn't for EC & I'm thankful for each and every one of you. You're amazing. Love, Hannah

Aw! that made me really happy! It is wonderful that you have such a supportive friend. My first friend I told asked my jokingly just like that too. It was actually really funny because she was really shocked!
