I haven't written a coming out story in a while and I'm so excited that I can finally say that I'm out to more people that are so important in my life. Sorry for the long post, but I'm too excited! xD I have told my parents that I really want to come out to my entire family already, but I agreed on waiting for them to be ready to handle everything. I'm just glad most of my family lives in a different continent so it makes it easier Another part of the story is that, about a year ago, my cousin came out to me when I came out to her. She finally decided to come out to her family last week and their response has been great. Partly because pretty much everyone saw it coming xD She had already come out to my family beforehand so no shock with my parents, which made it easier for my uncle to handle. Well, Today, 2 years after coming out to my parents, my dad finally came out about me to my uncle and his wife! They are the only family that live here in the US with us so its nice that I can finally stop hiding my life when they come over. I have yet talk to my uncle and his wife and we haven't even been in the same room yet. Needles to say I'm nervous and I have no idea how things are going to go tonight at dinner haha We shall see. Either way, I'm finally out to my uncle!!
Congratulations! Now you're out to a continent's worth of relatives; sounds like it deserves some sort of celebration.
Thanks guys Things went pretty awesome last night. He gave me a hug and told me that he was there for me, which was kind of unexpected to tell you the truth. Definitely a good weekend haha
