I was home alone, or so I thought. My dad had just gotten back from work and started heading upstairs to his and my mothers room. My room is right across from theirs, and I didn't hear him coming upstairs, and I was singing that catchy song Shoes. He came into the room, but I don't know what was going through his mind then, but fortunately he didn't say anything about it. I was freaked out! I was scared that that could have been the outing to my homophobic fundamentalist Christain parents. Thankfully, it wasn't. It as too close for comfort for me.
