I am so excited and so overwhelmed where I'm now and when I look back where I come from I am totally stoked! A friend of mine was doing a video project for one of her classes at uni about the different orientations and how society perceives them. She interviewed a nun (El Salvador is an extremely Catholic country), a psychologist (which of course stated that being "gay" is not an illness or a condition that can be cured), and me. And I said it, and she recorded it. I am gay. I'd love to post the vid but it's sort of in Spanish and she sort of asked me to not post it--yet. I'll get clearance after she receives her graded report back I guess. But I am so proud of myself.
Congratulations! That's an awesome way to come out! And helping her. I would like to see the video as well once you're allowed to post it.
