My sister suggested we go out for ice cream sometime today, I might come out to her then. I'm really nervous, I hope I don't chicken out. Wish me luck and any words of encouragement would be welcome.

Good luck! I think coming out over ice cream will help, you can always get support from the ice cream if you get nervous. Let us know how it goes!
Yess I did it!!! I just told her there was something that I wanted to discuss with her, and told her she might already know. Then she was smiling kind of knowingly and she kind of said uh huh. And i said, I'm gay. She said she did already know because of a picture of me at gay prom on facebook:eusa_doh:. But anyway it went well, she said she supports me and the only thing is she wanted to make sure that I was not going to chop my hair off. The ice cream was helpful, at some points I would just stare into my ice cream and stir it. Thanks for the words of encouragement guys! I feel so relieved now!:eusa_clap
