Came out to most of my Cahtolic Friends at church.

    I sent them a letter explaining my absence from the last couple of weeks and why I am part of two youth groups (One is this Catholic Group and the other is an Ecumenical LGBTQ group).

    Their answer? I'll translate it word by word:

    "I understand all that you've said and I agree that society should open up a little more to understand the sexual diversity and those who are part of the [Catholic] Church to love our LGBTQ friends."

    SO. EXCITED. That went extremely better than what I expected it to go. SO EXCITED! (!)

    These coming out stories give me hope that maybe we're seeing the light at the end of this dark age.
