So I just came out to my mother, and it's literally one of the best and most difficult things I have ever done in my life. She sort of forced it out of me, saying that she didn't want to worry about what I was going to say. I told her that I was gay and she told me that she didn't care who I love as long as I'm happy. We discussed all of the regular stuff, such as if I was seeing anyone etc and I'm just incredibly relieved at her reaction. She told me that she loved the idea (though she does seem to think it means I will go shopping with her and my sister more ha ha) and generally it's all good. I'm just scared now that I have to tell my father, but I think it's a great step.
Congratulations, that's awesome. It's wonderful when parents are supportive. And she can help you with your father.
After reading these post I am starting to think I was lucky...ppl kind of knew what I liked and never really said much to me...
Thanks guys came out to my sister and brother in law now which is good, all I have to do now is tell my dad! On a side note, if any of you are good at fixing computers do you know how to fix a netbook that won't boot half the time and keeps crashing and bluescreening. >.>
