-other than my best friend of 8 years who is bi, and my best guy friend of 9 years who is ALSO bi.... I'm about to tell a guy friend that I'm gay.

I'm actually doing this right now..and I'll let you know how it goes as it happens. I'm actually very scared even though I could be okay if he ended up being judgmental. ...So..here goes..

Me: C...That thing...that's been ....bothering me and upsetting me, is this: I...like girls...

Yeah. The first one's always the hardest. You never know what to expect, so your mind comes up with the weirdest possibilites. Congrats on coming out

Does it generally get easier to come out to friends with practice? I felt pretty paranoid x.x I'm glad he reacted well- yay positive reinforcement.

Believing that it would be more difficult than it turns out to be is totally rational, because we can't always be 100% sure of a good outcome. Congrats on coming out!
