I came out on Facebook today with my name change and I posted a link to a coming out letter. I'm both excited and terrified. I really won't know anything until tomorrow, I guess. The reason I stayed in the closet on Facebook is due to my mom's request after I came out to her. She wanted some time before I came out completely. I've given her six months, so I thought that was more than enough.

My first response came a few days ago. It was my sister-in-law. She said that she supported me and that she would be giving the letter to my brother to read. She's fairly certain that he'll support me too.
