So. I came out to a couple of my friends the other day. It was a spur of the moment kinda thing, but im soo happy i did. What had happened was i overheard them joking about how they were gonna make shirts with "Pride" written on it for this summer's parade. at the time i didn't know what they were talking about, but i knew what it meant. so when our group split to go in for class, i pulled them back a bit and asked them, me "wait, your gonna get shirts with Pride on them? why?" her "Yea, why? do you know what it is?" me: "yea, of course i know." *pause a bit so i can change the direction of the conversation* "why? who is gay?" i immediately look at my other friend who i had suspected to be gay and she was like, "well.. umm.. me." me: "oh, well." she looks at me slightly puzzled "your ok with that?" me: "of course! why wouldn't i be? i gay myself." so then today i figure out that they have started to make plans for the Gay parade in Athens, they invited me (very excited for it) and so were gonna be going to it with our gay shirts... probably.
