This starts off last night, tired and couldn't sleep when I decided to make a rash decision. I decided I was going to tell my friend I was pansexual and sent her an email telling her I needed to talk to her at lunch. Then after study hall, at lunch, she asked me what I wanted to talk about and asked various questions. Knowing I couldn't just joke around and say it out loud, I wrote it on a random piece of paper in my purse, adding some funny things just to not sound so like just throwing it because that would sound unlike me. Then, I gave it to her and she told me she would read in it the gym and threw her lunch away. A minute or so later, I threw my lunch away, walked into the gym and she gave me a basketball to shoot hoops while she read the note. She was okay with it and she promised not to tell anyone. I am so blasted happy! Finally came out to someone other than my online friends. I might come out to my parents later tonight hopefully!

I haven't told my parents but tomorrow, before school, I am going to sneak a note to my mom. Hopefully she'll share with my dad. I, instead of telling parents, told my sister. She was weirded out but she'll get used to it.
Congrats! Its not easy coming out but you are doing it one step at a time! Good luck with coming out to your family, they are usually the hardest to come out to, but we know you can do it!
