I FINALLY did it, I came out to my sister. Pretty sure I almost threw up, my god. At first she thought I was bisexual because all I said was "I like girls" but I then explained to her that I only want to be with a girl, have sex with a girl, and get married to a girl. A huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders but I think now comes the harder part...telling my parents and my friends and just, everyone. I'm very scared but I'm so, so happy that I told someone. Wow.
I just came out to my mom as well. She asked a million questions and told me I should keep an "open mind". It took me a while to convince her...haha. Next will be my dad when he comes home...
I think telling family is hugely important but also really difficult...at least in my case. So congrats, that was super brave!!
I just told my dad. So much weight is lifted off my shoulders. Now my whole immediate family knows. So, so happy!
