So I told my mom a couple weeks ago that I had broken up with my boyfriend(couldnt force myself into a straight relationship anymore because I had fallen for a girl who gave me the strength to deal with it) and that I liked a girl. I'm home again for the weekend and told my mom that she isnt just a g irl I like, but my girlfriend. And that Im not into boys at all. She took it really well and said she kind of figured, and had even creeped the girl on facebook! Then I told my brother who was really cool about it, he just warned be about being in my racist homophobe town with my interractial girlfriend, as we may get some trouble for it. Then my mom told my d ad and he said it was a nonissue, and was even posting on yahoo discussion boards against people who were defending chikfila. Im so lucky to have a family that accepts me, I just hope that in the future my extended family will accept me as well c:
Congratulations on coming out to your family! It's wonderful that they are so supportive. ... and congrats on the girlfriend too!
That's awesome! And your dad is sweet. Without further ado, the DANCING BANANAS: (!!)(!!)(!!)(!)(!)(!)(!!)(!!)(!!)(!)(!)(!)(!!)(!!)(!!)
That's awesome. Not strictly because they accept you because it's you, but because they're actually cool enough with being LGBT that they'll defend you for it.
