| Member Full Member   Gender: Transgender - MtF Orientation: Straight Out Status: most as gay, a few as trans Location: PA Age: 17 Posts: 66 Join Date: Jun 2012 |  Out to Facebook! When I first made a Facebook, I was in my denial phase and put "Interested in: Women". Once I started to accept myself a little bit, I took women off and replaced it with nothing. A few minutes ago, I changed it to "Interested in: Men"! I hid it from family members, but I still consider this a huge step! I also realize that this means there is no turning back, because now anyone (aside from family) who looks can know. How exciting! Edit: Whoops, I could have sworn I clicked on "Coming Out Stories", but I guess not. Sorry, mods!

I was actually doing some complaining tonight about the fact that Facebook only has the male and female binary to select from. I'd come out more, I guess, if there were other options.
