Do letters work?

    So I am going to come out to my mom soon. I said I was going to wait but I don't see the need. I'm not nervous to tell her I'm just a bit worried about the rest of my family, very religious people. Anyways, I'm about 90% sure she knows or suspects. In this situation do you think a letter is good? If so she I just give to her to read or use it as a template to organize my thoughts and read it to her?

    I think a letter would work. Maybe leave it somewhere she'd notice.

    I really think that letters can be the best way to get a point across and to give the person some time to get used to the idea before confronting you about it.
