(I have no idea why i'm doing this. I think I just want it off my chest. Sorry about the length) Me coming out to my parents at the time I did, was SO not my decision. Here's the story. Basically, one night, I was talking to a friend on MSN and we eventually started talking about girls. He talked about all this stuff he did with a girl, and I thought he was just trying to be macho, so i said, yeah, whatever. Well, he ends up sending me a picture of her flashing a webcam. I was a little dumbstruck. I thought he was totally screwing with me. This next part, I'm not proud of, but I was still in shock at the time. I was talking to another friend on MSN and kind of blurted out what happened. He told me to shutup, because I was obviously lying. I'm sorry to say, that I just sent it to him without thinking to try and show him. About a second later, I came to my senses and deleted it and told him to do the same. He did. End of story, right? Wrong. Something that I didn't know at the time was that he was on a school club trip, and he was using their laptop alone in a hotel room. (Obviously, if I had known that, I never would have sent it.) The worst of it? She's in that club! So, someone comes in and my friend goes to use the washroom. By the time he comes back, the other guy who walked in has gone into the Recycling Bin, found the picture, and then made it the Desktop photo. (This guy is so retarded I want to smack him!) He then finds her and says, "Look who I found." Showing her the picture. Well, she manages to trace it back to me. It gets worse. She doesn't bother to confront me about this,w hich would have been easier. She went to my brother. Note: My brother is psychotic, for the sake of not wanting to write for an hour, I'll spare you the details. (He's 17 I'm 15) So, he finds out, goes ballistic, and demands to search my comptuer. Of course, I say no, and he freaks, ends up practically taking me and my parents hostage demanding to be allowed to search my computer. So, privately, I explained to them, my situation and then they went off to talk to him, and thought they had compromised by talking him down, to not being allowed to touch my computer but him being allowed to be present while my father searches. Well, they come back, telling me the deal, saying that since the photo was deleted anyway, what did it matter? Well I explained that I did have porn on the computer (I know, sue me) They said that they couldn't care less, and that he wouldn't either. Valid point, but I had porn of males too. So, I had to cave and explain that I was bisexual. They were totally cool with it (I love them so much for that) but they then realised that if my brother found out, that would be the end of me. From there on in, my parents ended up just wiping it so that he couldn't search it, and if i had by chance not deleted the photo, it was gone for good then. So yeah, I just though I would share that. It's just a bad experience and it's nice to be able to talk about it. I hope everyone else here has had outed themselves on their own terms!
Wow, thats a really bad story, just because one simple picture can lead into such a bad incident and coming back to get you. My coming out experience wasn't like that, as I can remember it will be almost one year that I was forced to come out of the closet, story should be in this section some where. Sorry that happened to you. Usually when I get pictures of someone, and they ask me to delete it, I delete it without even thinking twice. Plus it was good to get it off your chest, better than having it all balled up inside.
THATS SAD BUT GOOD THING YOUR PARENTS ARE OK WITH THE FACT THAT YOU ARE BISEXUAL. WHEN SOMEONE SENDS ME A PICTURE FILE OR WHAT EVER I REALLY DONT ACCEPT THEM I MEAN I DONT SAVE THEM TO MY COMPUTER. THEY FIRST HAVE TO SEND IT TO MY E-MAIL THEN ILL SAVE IT. AND NOW THAT IVE READ THE STORY IM JUST SCEARD. WHY? WELL BECAUSEI HAVE PICTURES OF GUYS THAT I THINK ARE ATRACTIVE [ NOT PORN ] BUT ITS STILL IN A New Compressed (zipped) Folder BUT WHAT IF I FORGET ONE DAY TO BLOCK IT AND PUT A PASSWORD TO GET TO IT.
lol, oh trust me, if i could've just clicked accept instead, I would have. Unfortunately, I have a verrrry messed up computer that doesn't let me do that. If I hit accept, it says it can't do it, and shuts down the transfer
grr, why do you have to be so lucky about them not caring about the porn. My mom found some of mine and outed me (just between the 2 of us) she was ok with the gay thing but not with the porn thing. "even if it was your brother, with straight porn, I wouldnt be okay with it." The sucky part is that I hadnt even remembered that that particular porn was there. It was really old and I was porn free at the time. So she assumes that I planted it so I wouldnt have to tell her. I assume that she'd known for far longer and was searching for evidence for a long time and found this and used it. She gave me this bullshit story about how she was just cleaning up my room and found this sketchbook uner my dresser and wondered what I was working on... it sounded like a total lie. oh well, I half wish she had freaked out temporarily and told everyone.. but im good, il tell everyone else eventually. isnt porn a wonderfully incriminating thing.
i really dont like porn that much! i reather see guys with no shirt but with boxers or spidos! [ i love spidos they are the hottes thing ] but yeah i do have some porn but it not like hardcore its more like guys kissing and hughs. i just love that kind of pictures because i think its not porn but just a simple picture showing the love of two persons.
whoa! im not some porn-crazed maniac, dont get me wrong, wonderfully INCRIMINATING was what i said... i have to agree with you on the kissing/holding, love depicted in art and photography is really powerful, and often super hot.
yep one of my pasions is photogrpahy and i have some pictures i found in the internet that i think are great so ill post them later!
