After chickening out telling my cousin 2 weeks ago, I finally came out to her today! I wasn't as scared as last time but it was still difficult to say the dreaded words. The conversation went like this: Me: I have something to tell you. Her: What? Me: I can't say it, take a guess. (while laying down on the sofa with my hands covering my face) Her: Are you getting married?! Me: No! ._o Her: Are you gay? Me: Yes... (with my hands still covering my face lol) Her: Oh my god! Really? Me: (I nod) (after the initial shock she was fine and calmed down) Her: There is nothing wrong with that. It's normal. (she then asked the usual questions etc) When her husband arrived from work about 1 hour later, she asked me if it was ok if she told him. I said yes. It was funny because when we were eating dinner at the table, she said to him "I've got something to tell you" but was too afraid to say it! Anyway we managed to get it out and he was also fine with it. So there you go. I'm happy that I was able to come out to 2 people in the same day. Thanks for reading
Congratulations on coming out to your cousin. Wonderful that it all worked out so well, and that you are happy.
