My family and close friends have known for quite a while now. I have even been married to my husband for almost a year, (Oct 14 is our anniversary). I was not out to work, nor to my many friends from before I lived here in Wyoming. Early this morning though while on the overnight shift at work, I changed my relationship status to married, and linked it to my husband. I also posted a message to my wall explaining that I am gay, and how we came to meet and get married. I am very relieved now, I have received several congratulations already. Nothing negative so far.
I have talked to a few more people since I posted my status to facebook. Everyone is happy for me. I have not lost any friends on facebook, or in person since posting that I was gay on Coming out day 11 October.
Glad to hear. I've been contemplating coming out on FB myself. For the most part, my close friends already know, and everybody has been supportive.
