So i was very determined to tell my sister I was gay about 2 nights ago. I had worked up a lot of confidence building up over a few weeks and all. I grabbed her aside on a school night and talked to her for about an hour to see if she really loved and supported me. I started to cry and then I just said it. I never cried longer then before in my life. She sat there and comforted me saying it was going to be all right and I love you no matter what. She was very supporting. She is a stepping stone for me in coming out publicly.
Awesome, dude!! That's great! I also told my sister first. Since she lives in UK and I in Ecuador, I had to do it vía Skype. We had been talking for like 45 minutes and she was about to go to bed. It was something like this: Her: "Well, it's late and I have to wake up early tomorrow". Me: "Hey, I have something to tell you before you leave". Her: "Sure. Go ahe...". Me: *interrupting her, of course* "I'm gay". Her: "Okaaaaay". *suspiciously, as if I were kidding* Me: "Yep. I'm gay. I just wanted you to know that". Her: "Are you sure??" Me: "Oh, yeah. I am". lol She was very supportive. And despite the fact I was asdfjaisdu when I told her it went very well. Afterwards I felt somewhat uneasy... I think it was because of the realization that yeah, I AM coming out. It's just something that I must do. But, she was great. And so it seems your sister. lol It's awesome to have sibling that are also your closest friends. My other sister was somewhat resistant to the idea. But she's quite cool about it (though, still a bit prejudiced)... at least, when it doubt she asks me things and it's not taboo. Mwahahahahaha... I loooove these b!tches.
