I just told my mom I'm gay. She was reading and I told her I had something to say. I've never actually said "I'm gay" before and that was the hardest part. I broke down but she was really great about it. I'm still crying, although I do feel relieved. It's just such a big change.
CONGRATULATIONS!!! :eusa_danc That was probably one of the hardest things you have ever done. :eusa_clap You are amazingly strong for being able to do that.:icon_bigg I am very happy it went so well.(*hug*)
Ah! That is great that she was accepting! I understand the crying and being shaken up part. It is a HARD thing to do and that really weighs down on a person. I am so happy for you
That's really great! And yes it is a bit of a weird feeling having your parent(s) finally know. I remember feeling a bit awkward and "naked" in a sense around them shortly after since they knew my big "secret." But thankfully after a short time things seem to normalize back to how they were.
That's awesome! Congrats! I'm glad that your mom is accepting!! It is weird to know that your mom knows. I had the same feeling after I came out to my mom. After a while, things went back to normal for me.
