So I have no idea what came over me a bit ago... I randomly just started writing a long text message to my sister explaining my orientation... I said I was bi. The thing is, she's in her bedroom, in the same house, right below my room (I'm upstairs).
I guess that'll be my third coming out! I did NOT expect her to know like that via text, and I especially didn't expect right now. I think she's asleep though. So...
Wish me luck when she wakes in the morning! I hope she understands...

Well, good luck! (or you could just sneak into your sister's room, find her phone and delete the message :lol:slight_smile:

That is also a factor! Haha. No I'm kinda glad whatever went over me did, I have no idea how I was going to do that.

I would go with the delete option, personally, or say your phone got hacked. Just so you can come out to her face to face, rather than something as impersonal as a text. Maybe it's just me, but I feel like I owe my family members a face to face; so do it if you feel comfortable! Or wake her up and say, "I just sent you a text, we need to talk, sorry for waking you but it's important!"

    Good luck either way.

I'm pretty sure it will be fine, and I think she is awake. Damnit, she must just be talking on the phone or something and not read it yet. Oh well, still glad I did it!

Let us know how it goes.

You seem to be doing a good job of moving right along with the process.

I hope it all goes well and we'll all be hearing good news from your end!

When I came out to my sister I just sort of blurted it out... It was quite awkward actually... xD

Alright here's what happened. I had gone to sleep, not fully, but I was laying in my bed when she actually texted me back. I was expecting her to run up here or something! But no, we had a long conversation (via text haha) she's completely cool with it and has a lot of support for me. This part was actually quite funny, I has asked her opinion and what she thinks about it. This is what happened:

*cue long text of random stuff. At the end of the text I said*
"Also, how exactly do you feel about it??"

"personally? i don't give two fucks about what you are. gay straight bi a dinosaur i don't care"

I sure got out a few chuckles on that one. Thanks everyone who replied with support!
