Just thought I'd drop by and mention that I'm coming out as Trans to a cousin of mine tonight. We've been close off and on through the years, and I'm not really worried about her response. I just seem to be on a roll as of late and figured I'd keep it going. I think I'm going to attempt to come out to one person a week for the rest of the year. That's my goal anyway, we'll see how it goes Tonight, my cousin. Tomorrow, the world.
She'll be the first in the extended family. Thanks for the well wishes. Just texted her and I'll be going over there in about half an hour to talk. Feeling relatively calm
Congrats, Alexis. I like the idea of coming out to one person a week. I know that'd never be possible in my family, since they gossip so much (which, for me, worked out to my advantage actually).
In all honesty it was two people. Her husband was home as well, so I told him it was ok for him to join in and just came out to both.
