Came out as transexual O.O !

    So i was talking to my bestfriend M about how im super scared of coming out to my parents (or anyone! )and she said they would accept me and i froze there for a sec and said
    um i was uh kind of a coward and i didnt tell you everything... im transexual. ( im sort of confused with the diference between transgender and transexual )
    And M says "hey dont worry about it"
    And im like Oh My God! Your the best Best friend ever!

    Lots of baby steps equal major regular steps. It's nice to ne congratulating you again. Just to help you out a bit too, typically a transsexual is somebody who's actually making physical changes to their body to reflect their true gender. Usually before that we would use the transgender term. It's a blurry line though and it gets confused all the time so don't worry too much about it :slight_smile:

    The important thing is the step you took. You're doing great Liz :slight_smile: Good luck with your parents when you're ready.
