Hey I told my friend that I was gay about 3 hours ago and she was not really that supporting of me and was quite angry that I had told her but I was worried that she would tell people at school about me :frowning2:.

About half hour ago she sent me a text saying something like " sorry I reacted that way and I really don't care that you're gay and I won't tell anyone  promise", I really hope she means it.

Yay that is 5 close friends down another 2 to go

    Congrats!
Often times the shock can be overwhelming for the people you are coming out to... Sometimes it just takes time. Either way, congrats on coming out to your friend! (!)

Congratulations! I'm still too scared to even try this. How did you do it? When is the right time? I feel so uncomfortable around my friends and family because I've lived this lie practically my whole life. I just want these uncomfortable feelings to be gone. If you could share some advice with me I would really appreciate it!

I'm happy it ended well  Like someone said earlier sometimes the initial shock can take a bit of time to get over. I hope your other coming outs go well.

Most of the people I've come out to have been all like "oh, okay. you sure?" That's about it. It was underwhelming. I don't know if that means it's obvious or that they really just don't care. But either way congrats!
