I just made a post coming out to all of my FB friends about my gender and sexuality. I showed it to my mom before hand and she didn't really react... I'm now so scared that Im gonna lose friends and family and get bullied that my hands are shaking. I'm glad I did it, but things will be rough from here on...

Sorry for the double post, but I'm calmer now... I think it was the right thing to do, and so far the responses are positive. Sorry for rambling before. By the way thanks Ticklish Fish

I'm glad to hear that things are going well so far!

Being nervous is natural.. so I would get too worked up about being nervous.

I think it's great that you decided to come out, and maybe you needed that. Knowing that it was the right thing to do, will give you the strength to get through being asked some tough questions or moments where you might feel that some friends might distance themselves.

If your mom didn't really react, it might be a good sign. Maybe things won't be as rough. Congratulations on deciding to take the brave step and come out!
