So I was texting my best friend from high school and we were talking about our dating lives and I mentioned my less ideal dating experience I recently had. Here's the convo: Jackie: Ahhh jared. U nvr told me u were in a relationship! Awe man rly. My last day is.the 17th I've been good super busy with school. Me: I've been pretty busy with school too I don't think I told anyone from back home I was dating someone, I didn't even tell my mom. J: Oh man I bet school literally takes most of my time. oh rly. Awe ya u had it on the dwn low. Oh man but thts good tho. You'll have a girl tht will care for u ohhhh soo much!!! Me: Um actually it was a guy, I'm gay. Don't tell anyone, not a lot of people back home know. My mom would've freaked if she knew I was dating a guy, she was pissed when I came out. J: Oh hey tht is totally fine!!! Thts so normal!! How awesome tho!!!! ) oh man well, there are definitely more out.in the.sea.tht will make u feel great. She's the first person from my high school that I've come out to. I'm so happy she accepted me, though I was pretty sure she would, she was the one person who was there for me in high school.
It's interesting how fast a coming out can come about.... Congratulations! Glad she is accepting and is someone who you can trust.
