This weekend I came out to my sister about my gender issues. I was so surprised at her reaction, she told me in fact, she felt the same way. She considered taking hormone replacement therapy and a gender reassignment surgery. She never went through with it, but she told me she completely understood. I told her about how when I present as a man my self-hate is decreased dramatically, and she completely encouraged me to seek help when I can! I'm so glad of the outcome of this!
