Just came out to my mum and old friend!

I can't believe it in one earlier tonight I came out to one of my oldest friends who was so good about it he just told me how it was ok and he didn't care and then that gave me enough courage to tell my mum who's said she's going to try and drop hints slowly on my dad, without actually telling him. I honestly can't believe how well it went in one night previously I had to persuade my other friends that it didn't change anything and that he was just surprised nd not upset :icon_bigg but this one (I'm not going to say his name without permission) was instantly fine with it. It feels great knowing that no matter what happens he's just going to accept me!:icon_bigg

Thanks, although my mum's gentle persausion has turned out to be a sudden bombardment of info, but it seems to have worked srprisingly. After hours of leaflets and internet sites she's actually managed to make my dad admit that perhaps gay people aren't as bad as he thinks hopefully ill be able to come out to him soon, but I'm gonna wait for him to swallow all this new info before I try that, give him time to come to terms with things but things are really starting to look up =)
