I did it!!!!! Well actually yall did it for me but... Woo! I'm OUT!

    Ok, I am sooo happy, ok so I was doing algebra (ewww) and mom said she was gonna get on the computer, now, we're living in a temporary apartment and they do give us internet but we had to call the cable company to get it setup and they only did it for my laptop so mom can't use hers for internet. Well whenever mom gets on MY computer, I get really nervous, thinking "oh dear, did I clear the history, cache and search stuff?" well usually I use private browsing esp when coming on here well once or twice I forget, I cleared the history but forgot the search box and it had things like, well empty closets and well some other more questionable gay-related terms (lol) well she called me in and asked me about it, and I was like "uh...." and she was like well, do you think you might maybe be gay, and I said "yeah...." and she talked about the hard life stuff and how she was ok with it and that she loves me and you know, so I went back to doing my algebra and when I "finished" she told me to come sit with her on the couch and we talked more in depth about it, like about sex, telling people, my cousin and her friends (lesbians) who live quite close to us and support groups and stuff, oh and "no sleep overs" lol, oh and Becky, if you read this can you tell me where to find like the PFLAG stuff?

    Yeah well I'm out to my mom, I'm sooo happy :grin: omg, ha I still don't think ill come out like extremely at school (or like ya know, not at all yet) but yeah :grin: weee!!!

    Ps I was like sweating all through the talk and I felt like I was gonna barf, woo that was the scariest thing ever!!! Don't let anyone tell you it isn't haha, cause they lying, oh and she also thinks that this is a great site, but doesn't want me posting info, you know the usual stuff in the fight against pedofiles lol

    That's awesome! She sounds very supportive and appears to have a positive outlook on it, as all parents should.

    I know I'm not Becky, but this thread contains the PFLAG materials that you can print out, unless you were planning on physically visiting a chapter yourself.

    Thats awesome Jace! wOOt! feels good dosent it? takes the monkey off your back. Coming out takes time and is a slow process, so you dont need to just jump out their and tell everyone you know that your gay right away, wait till your ready and for the right time and take it slow. coming out is a life long process :slight_smile:

    OMG AWESOME! CONGRATS!! I remember you writing a thread about how you were thinking about telling your mom when you moved. Nice job. lol I saw you said that you were really nervous when you told your mom... lol I was EXTREMELY nervous when I told my mom haha. I even started crying lol.. but anyways congrats on everything! Hope everyone else goes well when you eventually come out to more people :eusa_clap

    Wow congrats! That sounds like it went really well for you. Becky should have some great PFLAG stuff for you. :slight_smile: Glad you got that out, even if it might not have been the way you wanted.
