    Hey all,

I figured I would pop in real quick and give a brief summary of an exchange I had at a party this evening.

I went to a birthday bash for my buddy "J" and didn't know most of the people there. I haven't told "J" or anyone in his circle that I am Bi yet, no real reason, just haven't been able to talk to him alone.

Anyway, there was this girl at the party, "M", and she was one of J's friends I had never met before. We started chatting and hit it off immediately. She was probably the hottest girl there, at least I thought so, and I was thoroughly charmed.

When we were hitting our stride, flirting back and forth and talking about our shared interests, she asked me about my ring.

Now, I wear a Bi Pride ring everywhere (steel band with combined gender symbols etched onto it), but I had not yet been asked about it. I'll admit my heart sank a bit when she brought it up, I hadn't had to tell a girl I was interested in about my sexuality just yet, and I was apprehensive about how she would react.

But I wasn't going to lie so I just said: "Oh this? I'm Bi and it's my Bi Pride ring" I took it off to show her and she turned it over in her hands.

    "You're Bi?" She asked.

    "Yeah"

    "Me too."

Yeah, we talked about that a bit, and wrapped up to conversation with her giving me her number. I will see her later this week, but she is sadly moving away for the winter, as am I.

Even if nothing comes of it, her reaction (and continued interest) was great.

    Happy New Year!

YAY! It's super cool when people play for our team! And I hope something does come of it if you two had any kind of connection there.
