I'll set the scene... It was New Years Eve and the clock has just struck midnight. My lady love gives me a wonderful smooch in the middle of all our friends and no one seems to notice because everyone else is doing the exact same thing. A pretty awesome start to the new year. Later on, I find my lady alone in a dark hallway while the party is still in full swing. I push her against the wall to give her a more involved kiss than the polite NYE kiss. I'm just about to plant one on her when my younger female cousin comes around the corner and stops suddenly in shock. My lady love and I immediately freeze and are caught in the act. Cousin: "Were you two just going to make out or is this something that happens all the time?" Lady Love: "Oh... you know." Cousin: "What do I know?" Lady Love: "You know, you know..." Me: "Okay you caught us, she's my girlfriend." Cousin: "Oh okay! Well, I love you no matter what. Love is love." Me: "Thank you." *giant hugs all around* It was a relief and now my plan to come out this year is in full swing. Happy 2013 everyone! (!)
