So, to give some background information of the situation, I'm a member of a safer campus initiative and I had to meet with the program leader to go over some paperwork and whatnot. Just before I left, I let her know that I had something else that I wanted to share about myself, and then I said 'About two years ago, I realized I'm not exactly straight. I'm hoping that it's not going to be a problem for the group or anything.' She had no problem with it, and then she told me that she wasn't exactly straight either. She then went on to say that coming out shouldn't be such a big deal, that I was brave for coming out, and for being comfortable with my sexuality - considering there's people who don't come to terms with it until they are much older. So, in short, I had an awesome coming out experience earlier today and I wanted to share it with this community
