    Finally told my mother...

    Mom: are you renewing your lease?
    Me: I don't think so.
    Mom: oh. So your getting a new apt? Where?
    Me: I'm moving to ......
    Mom: oh why there?
    Me: I'm moving in with someone?
    Mom: who? Are they a Jehovah's Witness?
    Me: no he's not. I've known him 1.5 years.
    Mom: why are you moving I'm with this guy and he's not a Jehovah's Witness?
    Me: because I've been dating him for 1.5 years....
    Mom: so... You're gay?
    Me: yea pretty much

    Conversation ensues. Discussing how long I've known, why I never said anything, HIV, him, ext.

    End result

    "You're my son, I'm you're mother, I love you and nothing will ever change that"
