Today, I spent some time with my best friend after my exam. We went back to hers and just chilled, having a laugh as we always do. I told her about how my counsellor said I only had a few more sessions to go, apart from talking about this one last thing.. When she asked what that was, I got all embarassed - I don't know why - and I figured it was time to stop hiding it. I couldn't get the words out for a few minutes and she cut the tension but getting up and playing a drumroll on her set. I laughed and said, "I'm... Like *a girl in our year*" And she just went, "Okay." She shrugged and smiled. And then we continued on as normal, laughing and joking and generally having a great time. Couldn't be happier about her reaction!
I find the conversation both sweet and awkward at the same time. But it does sound like it ended nicely.
