I finally did it!!!

I came out to my closest girl friend (friend who is a girl) and she took it amazingly! I was really scared to do it

, so I wrote a really long letter (800 words) and sent it to her. It was hard for me to hit the send button, so i closed my eyes while i did it. we talked for a long time before and after, and all i can say is that i am OUT AND PROUD!

now the next part is my parents, but that can wait a while.

Congratulations!! The first is always the hardest (well, apart from parents and the like), but for now at least you have one supporter that you can talk to in the flesh - this makes a big difference!! I always find I need a gap between coming-outs because they're so exhausting, so give yourself a break and enjoy your achievement!! And I am so glad that it went well!!

Thanks everyone for your support. It feels like a 3,000,000-pound weight has been lifted off of my shoulders. But I know that there are a few of them left on there. So one person is enough for right now.

Plus, I just realized something! Since I came out to a girl, we can talk about hot guys and she won't think I'm weird!
