Looking for a specific coming out letter & advice

Not sure if I saw this here, but I recently read a coming out letter from someone to his religious parent(s), and it struck a chord with me. However, now I can't seem to find it! The only specific thing I can remember that set it apart is that he had included a copy of Matthew Vines' speech in addition to his letter. If anyone knows where I can find that, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Also - just wondering if anyone out there had negative experiences with the letter process, and would rather have done it in person. I live a day's drive away from my parents, and unless I go home for a weekend specifically for that purpose, I won't be able to see them until May/June. Not to mention that I'd really like to have some other friends/support around should things not go so well, and not have to make a really long drive home by myself.
