I swear to you that these are exact quotes and nothing else. Here's a snapshot of some actual conversations before and after I came out. MOTHER BEFORE: We can't afford to get you a T-Mobile Sidekick. MOTHER AFTER: I'll buy you your phone if you promise to stop being gay. (she eventually came to terms with it) STEPFATHER BEFORE: Your mom says you got tickets to BFD. You're not going. STEPFATHER AFTER: Your mom says you think you're gay. You're not. (Meh.) COUSIN BEFORE: There's this guy. God, he's such a bitch, let's go fuck him up. COUSIN AFTER: There's this guy. God, he's such a bitch. I don't know, he seems like your type. (I love my cousin.) So what about you guys? How about a before and after set from your lives? I'm curious. Not like that.
Here's a nice one.. *talking about my Cousin's sweet Dickies on a car ride* Me: Yeah, but mom won't let me buy a pair because she says they look dykish Brother: they do Me: ...but I'm gay anyway so it works. Brother: yeah, you're gay and i'm the king of Guam.
I particularly enjoy this one: Friend before: Wow, you're like one of the few straight guys I know who actually dresses well. Friend after: You're a bad homo. You don't have enough shoes. And another one, from another friend, but with no real before shot: Me after: That's annoying, the fortune teller said it would take me a long time to settle down, and I want kids! Friend after (completely seriously): You never know, you could have kids out of wedlock.
hahahaha :icon_bigg yeah, I get a lot of the "you're one of the few guys (straight until proven gay! ) who actually dresses well" just cant wait for the "oh... I KNEW there had to be a catch to that..."
There isn't much of a difference for me... My friends who already know still say things like "Get yourself a girlfriend." "She's your type." My parents who suspect me of being gay are a little more freaky. (I haven't told them). They go like "What's wrong, does it have to do with a girl? (no answer), or guy?" "If you really like the person, why don't you ask her out, or him." Result : :icon_eek: after that, they'll keep quiet and stop asking..
haha my parnets are clueless I wish they did that then I mind b able to come out to them. friends say You're the gayest straight guy I know I know what you did with anthony last night (guy at my school) My fav. -> everyone thinks your gay (got that a lot) I have not after because pretty much no1 knows
I guess our friends actually like have an inkling albeit we don't tell them stuff... Lol, before I told them that I was gay, some of my female friends would say: "He's one of us!" or like "Guys who are going, please raise your hand. Bryan, put your hand down." The worst was "Bryan, are you 'gaying' with Kevin? You guys look like a couple" both of us would be like :icon_eek: :icon_eek: (Apparently Kevin is the guy that I've been having a crush on since last year... but I think he is straight so....)
friend before- i think i know a girl who would be perfect with you friend after- i always knew you were gay!! lol that seriously happened too
Mom before: What do you look for in a girl? Mom after: Do you tink that guy's hot? I like how well she's taken it but sometimes it gets kinda creepy
