I came out to my friend the other day. We were sitting in our form room and the conversation petered out so I was like let's talk about something serious for a change. She started talking about euthanasia and when that conversation ended we went on to other serious issues. Eventually we got round to gay marriage. I was really nervous but as the conversation ended I said "speaking about gay marriage I'm bi." She went "does that mean your like gay and straight. Does that mean you have a husband and a wife?" I told her that it meant I liked people rather than genders and that it meant I could have either a husband or a wife. Then she was so awesome about it and we just went on as usual.
