I've been so afraid to let anyone know for so long that I was gay, but I mustered up the courage to tell a really close friend. I can't tell you how relaxed I feel after telling her!(!) She's a very open person emotionally, sexually, and just about any other way you can think of a person being open, so I knew she was a good choice. She was so sweet about it, too! She said she didn't care how I labeled it or what I did with it as long as I was happy. She also suggested that I tell a few of the other girls we hang out with. They're really open, sweet people, too, so I really don't have much apprehension in telling them, but for some reason I still feel a bit nervous. (Maybe it's the vulnerability factor… anyway) Should I tell them through Facebook private message? I want to tell them all at the same time, but we don't have any mutual times where I can tell them in private. Any suggestions?
I'm happy for you dude. I'd prefer to tell them all face to face but if Facebook works for you do it.
Congrats~ I'd say do it face to face if you're comfortable enough to do it. Facebook just doesn't seem very personal; but that's just my opinion.
