The hardest part is over

I came out to my first person

A friend of mine that I text allot because we haven't seen in a few months needed participants for her psychology experiment, so I volunteered. She didn't give me much information on what it was about beforehand and she agreed to come to my apartment to do it. In the beginning I had to fill out some info on myself and the second question was sexual orientation. I filled out every other answer first and I stared at it for about two minutes straight deciding what to do before I just circled homosexual and then I asked her "You can't hate me for any of this right?"

I then showed it to her which I didn't actually need to because she wouldn't look at any of it until she got all the people she needed, plus I didn't need to put my name on it so it would be anonymous. But she was absolutely fine with it. I did the rest of the experiment which only took about 15 minutes and afterward we talked about it.

She was shocked because I told her she was the first person I had ever told, and she said that she has other friends who are too, so it didn't matter in the least to her. We went on to talk about other random things like we normally do and it was very nice. She just left about 10 minutes ago
