...and she took it really really well! I went to her, literately shaking, I felt like my heart was going to explode. I approached her, came out and her reaction was "awwwww" and she hugged me! She told me that it's perfectly normal and the only thing not normal in this situation is the hate coming from people. We talked a bit about this, and she strongly advised me to keep quiet in front of the other family members (homophobia :dry: ). I'd like to thank you all (and especially my boyfriend) who gave me the courage to make this step. You're all awesome! (&&&)
Congratulations! It must feel so amazing to get that reaction. We're all proud of you and glad that it went so well. It's a shame that you have to keep it away from other family members because of homophobia, but at least your mum knows right? And that's a great start!
